In this blog post, I’ll share brief notes on some AI tools I’ve tried and found useful. While these tools might not warrant an entire article individually, they each offer niche features that could be significantly valuable for certain businesses or specific use cases. This post serves as a dedicated space to highlight these lesser-known, yet impactful, AI resources.
1. PACDORA: Free AI Background Generator
Update (May, 2025): Sometime after I posted the below example on Pacdora, Gemini developed an image editor doing exactly the same (and more). Gemini now lets users edit photos with simple text prompts. See example below. And note the ethical concerns for potential explosion of deepfake.

Original post (Mar, 2025): I signed up using my backup Google account. Then chose a random merchandise image on the internet. I uploaded the image on Pacdora, and selected one of the background options. The outcome is amazing.
AFTER

Image I generated on Pacdora with a new background.
2. NOTEBOOK LM TIPS
Creating a Podcast and Interacting with it
On NotebookLM, you can create podcasts from your pdf files (e.g., lecture notes). First, upload your files. Then on the top right, click “Generate.”

New feature: You can even ask questions to the podcast hosts about your source file. See the short embedded video below.

New feature in April 2025: You can add more external sources from the web using “Discover Sources” feature. See the demo below.
3. IMAGE TO VIDEO
E.g., Using Higgsfield
I uploaded the static image below, prompted “zoom in and out, with a rotating view,” and obtained the short, rotating video of the image.
